Saee Bapat, Deepali Gaonkar, and I – the Poshak Life team – are back from Savera Farms, Sakleshpur, where we conducted a 3-day residential Fruit Feast. This detox program for the body and mind took many hours of thought, planning and organisation.
As this was our first time hosting a 100% raw diet program, we were both excited and wary of unforeseen challenges. And, of course, the challenges came up. Fruits did not ripen in time because of a change in the weather. Worry, panic, fatigue, fraying tempers, and detox symptoms showed up and were managed.
Through it all, the three of us never lost focus. That’s where I saw our growth as individuals and business partners.
But before that, I would like to celebrate some high points of the program – the:
– group synergy that kept everyone laughing, engaged, motivated, and light
– natural elements (sun, air, water) we had access to in abundance, and kept us nourished
– learning sessions that stimulated creativity, openness and fun
– recreation sessions that added to the group’s bonding and individual spontaneity
– nature activities that left people surprised at their energy levels on fruits
– sumptuousness of the natural fruits from the farm
– care of the hosts and the staff at the farm
– new friendships and connections
So, did the program meet our expectations? No, it went beyond!
Saee, Deepali and I share the commitment to service and care, living gifts we have received and witnessed on multiple occasions and chosen to carry forward. For every experience we design, we aim to deliver at heart, hands and head levels. And every time, we are humbled by the response this intention evokes.
We stayed back after all the participants had gone home, using the time to celebrate our wins and ponder over what could have been better. We laughed, cried, remembered, grieved, and expressed ourselves with “scary honesty.” 🙂 We noted where we have grown and where there is a long road yet. What warmed us at all times was the promise of friendship, authenticity, and love – for ourselves, each other, and our work!
In those moments, I felt immensely grateful to my teachers of psychodrama, nonviolent communication, and spirituality. I also acknowledged how the three of us have pursued self-development and growth in different ways and how our journeys have contributed to the development of our brand and the services we offer.
One of the participants shared feedback that usually three is a crowd, but the three of us make a perfect combo. That made me smile. It is a blessing when work becomes an extension of a life that’s savoured and celebrated with loved people who love you too.
Our next raw feast is coming up on 5th-8th June.

Looking forward to our shared journey!
